Accessibility

It is our aim to deliver a website with content that is accessible to as many people as possible. At launch we aim to always meet the minimum requirements of the 1995 and 2005 Disability Discrimination Acts and to exceed these levels where possible.

In addition, Blue Water Web comply with all of the Priority 1 and 2 accessibility checkpoints across the website, as set down by the World Wide Web Consortiums (W3C) Web Accessibility Initative (WAI). This group has been at the forefront of promoting accessibility for people with disabilities and is accepted as the de facto standard for web development. At the time of launch we have tested this site against all the W3Cs XHTML, CSS and WAI standards.

However it is possible that over time some of our pages might not currently conform to newer or emerging standards. It is our policy to ensure that all future web pages are compliant with the W3C guidelines for accessibility. If you have any problems using this site please contact webmaster@bluewaterweb.co.uk and we will try to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

Our website is compatible with all widely available browsers, and has been optimised for Internet Explorer (version 6 and above), Firefox and Safari (Mac). Due to the diversity of applications on the internet you may however see inconsistencies in the presentation of the pages if you are using older browsers, we would recommend that you upgrade these as soon as possible to enhance your viewing experience.
